 MBO is an oxazolidine based formaldehyde donor specifically developed for the primary and secondary preservation of aqueous metalworking fluids. 
3,3'-methylenebis[5-methyloxazolidine], also known as MBO or MBOZ, is a cyclic organic compound that is used as a biocidal active substance. 
MBO is commonly used as a preservative and disinfectant in various industrial and commercial applications, including water treatment, metalworking fluids, paints and coatings, and personal care products. It is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms and has a low toxicity profile, which makes it a popular choice for biocidal applications.
