Application

1. Properties: white crystalline powder with slight aromatic or phenolic odor;

2. Solubility: slightly soluble in water, moderate solubility in dilute alkali, soluble in ethanol and other organic solvents, can be dissolved in surfactant to make transparent concentrated liquid products;

3. Stability: chemical book, excellent storage stability: no rapid decomposition below 280-290 ºC; When heated at 200 ºC for 14 hours, only 2% of the active substances decompose, even slightly under long-term UV irradiation. Its solution is stable to acid and alkali.

4. Volatility: very low volatility, slightly aromatic.

 

Triclosan is a kind of high-efficiency broad-spectrum antibacterial disinfectant for external use, also known as dichlorophenoxychlorophenol, triclosin, Klein, bacteriostatic pure, sanitary pure, jiemeixin, triclosan. The normal state is white or grayish white crystalline powder, with a slightly phenolic odor. It is insoluble in water and soluble in alkali and organic solvents.

It is a kind of special bactericide with stable chemical properties, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, no toxic symptoms and environmental pollution.

It can kill Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and other bacteria, Candida albicans and other fungi, inhibit the virus (such as hepatitis B virus) and protect beneficial bacteria.

The bactericidal mechanism of triclosan is that it first adsorbs on the bacterial cell wall, then penetrates the cell wall, reacts with the lipid and protein in the cytoplasm, leading to protein denaturation, and then kills the bacteria.

At present, it has been widely used in high efficiency medicinal soap (hygienic soap, hygienic lotion), except for axillary osmidrosis (foot aerosol), disinfectant hand washing liquid, wound disinfectant spray, medical equipment disinfectant, sanitary cleansing cream, air freshener and refrigerator deodorant, etc., and also used for finishing sanitary fabrics and preservative treatment of plastics.
