(1) Used as a solvent for cellulose acetate, an intermediate in organic synthesis, a metal complexing agent, a paint drying agent, a lubricant, and an insecticide. Its metal complex is also used as a solvent. Additives for gasolin'e and lubricants, as well as desiccants for coatings and varnishes. Organic synthesis intermediates.


(2) Acetylaceton'e is an important raw material in the pharmaceutical industry, such as the synthesis of 4,6-dimethylpyrimidine derivatives. It is also used as a solvent for cellulose acetate, a drying agent for paints and varnishes, and an important analytical reagent.
Due to the presence of enol form, acetylaceton'e can form chelates with various metal ions such as cobalt (II), cobalt (III), beryllium, aluminum, chromium, iron (II), copper, nickel, palladium, zinc, indium, tin, zirconium, magnesium, manganese, scandium, and thorium, and can be used as additives for fuel oil and lubricating oil.


(3) By utilizing its chelation with metals, it can be used as a cleaning agent for metals in micropores; Used as a catalyst, resin crosslinking agent, and resin curing
