Product descriptions:
This product is colorless, transparent, yellowish, oily liquid with a slight aromatic flavor.
It is miscible with ethanol, ether and other general organic solvents, but insoluble in water and petro--leum ether.
This product is a kind of plasticizer with strong solubility for various resins.
It is compatible with various cellulose resins, rubber and vinyl resins.
It has good film-forming, adhesion and waterproof properties.
It is often used with die-thyl phthalate in the production of cellulose acetate film, varnish, transparent paper and molding powder.
A small amount is used in the production of nitr-ocellul-ose.
It can also be used as plasticizer of NBR.
It can also be used as a solvent for mosquito repellent oil (crude- oil), poly--vinyl fluoride coating

Application
1.It can be used as plasticizer, solvent, lubricant, deodorant, foaming agent for flotation of non-ferrous or rare metal mines, fixed liquid for gas chromatography, alcohol denaturant. 2.It has good compatibility with most resins such as cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose, polystyrene,etc.
3.It is mainly used as plasticizer for cellulose resin.
4.Diethyl Phthalate / DEP has good compatibility with most of ethylenic and cellulosic resins. Plasticizer for cellulosic resins granting a good softening and long-lasting property at low temperature.
5.Diethyl Phthalate / DEP also used as a perfume dilluent,emolient,fixing agent in Gas chromatography,etc..
