Property:
Kojic acid is a skin lightener that works through antioxidant activity. Kojic acid is a tyrosinase inhibitor, although it is not as effective as licorice extract. When combined with allantoin and other appropriate ingredients in sunscreen preparations, this mixture can inhibit UV-induced erythema and accelerate wound healing. It has also been found to be sensitive to the skin and may be irritating.

Usage:
(1) Kojic acid has a very wide range of applications in food production.
(2) As a raw material for food flavoring agent maltol and ethyl maltol.
(3) Kojic acid can be used as raw material for the production of cephalosporin antibiotics.
(4) Kojic acid in addition to a wide range of applications in food processing, but also has a better freckle, whitening beauty effect.
