Application

(1)Disinfection and sterilization of medical equipment

2% glutaraldehyde (alkaline, acidic, neutral) can be used for disinfection and sterilization of various medical devices that are not afraid of moisture. The clean and dry instruments are completely immersed in the glutaraldehyde aqueous solution at room temperature, and sterilization can be achieved in 30 minutes and sterilization can be achieved in more than 10 hours.


(2)Disinfection and sterilization of endoscopes

Glutaraldehyde is the drug of choice for the disinfection of endoscopes. Many parts of modern endoscopes are not resistant to high temperature and are afraid of corrosion. Therefore, most endoscopes are disinfected or sterilized with glutaraldehyde.
