ATMP is chemically stable in water and not easily hydrolyzed. When the concentration in water is relatively high, aminotrimethylene phosphonic acid has a good corrosion inhibition effect. ATMP is used in the circulating cooling water of thermal power plants and oil refineries and in the reinjected water system of oil fields. Aminotrimethylene phosphonic acid can play a role in reducing the corrosion and scaling of metal equipment or pipelines. ATM is used as a metal ion chelating agent in industries such as textile printing and dyeing, and can also be used as a metal surface treatment agent. The solid is a crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, easily hygroscopic, easy to transport and use, and is especially suitable for areas with severe cold in winter. Due to the high purity of aminotrimethylene phosphonic acid ATMP, it can be used as a metal chelating agent and metal surface treatment agent in the textile printing and dyeing industry.
