Adipic Acid primarily used as a raw material for nylon 66 and engineering plastics. Secondly, it is used for the production of various ester products, as plasticizers and advanced lubricants. In addition, Adipic acid is also used as the original chemical book material of polynenenebb carbamate elastomers, and as an acidifier for various foods and drinks. Its effect is sometimes better than citric acid and Tartaric acid. Adipic acid is also a raw material for medicine, yeast purification, pesticides, adhesives, synthetic leather, synthetic dyes and spices.

Applications

Application: Adipic acid is the most valuable binary acid among aliphatic binary acids. Adipic acid has the general properties of aliphatic binary acids, including salifying reaction, esterification reaction, amidation reaction, etc. Adipic acid is mainly used as the raw material of three categories of products, namely, to synthesize nylon 66 salt, and then manufacture Chemicalbook polyamide resin and fiber (nylon 66). Nylon 66 is the largest terminal market of Adipic acid; Synthesis of polyester polyols for the production of polyester polyurethane; Adipic acid diester plasticizer. In addition, it can also be used for the production of advanced lubricants and food additives (acid flavoring agents for food and beverages).
