Cosmetic use:

1. Chlorphenesin is a preservative, widely used in cosmetics. It is most commonly used in facial moisturizers,anti-aging serums, sunscreens, foundations, eye creams, cleansers, mascaras and concealers.

2. Chlorphenesin is more effective to fungi, and when used in combination with other preservatives, the antiseptic effect is enhanced.

Medical use:

1. Chlorphenesin is mainly used as a muscle relaxant.
