DTBHQ features
1. excellent antioxidant performance
DTBHQ has superior antioxidant effect and good photostability. Easily dispersed in polymer, does not affect vulcanization. In actual use, its antioxidant and anti-aging effects are equal to or better than the antioxidants 1010, 4010NA, 264 and other products commonly used in the industry, and can be used as a light stabilizer in coatings, paints and other products.
2. good safety performance
DTBHQ is a non-toxic, odorless, colorless, non-polluting antioxidant. Toxicological performance test proved that the oral LD50>10.0g/kg of rats, no carcinogenic effect, is the actual non-toxic grade substances (general provisions LD50≥2.0g/kg can be regarded as non-toxic), does not pollute the product and the environment, can be used as medical supplies, food packaging materials antioxidant. [1010/264, amine antioxidant D, H and 4010NA all have certain toxicity].
3. good stability
The melting point of DTBHQ is 212-218ºC and the boiling point is 313ºC, which is higher than the melting point of 4010NA (80.5C), the melting point of 1010 (119-123ºC) and the melting point of 264 (70ºC), and has good heat stability, compatibility, high extraction resistance and low volatility. It can improve the thermal oxygen resistance stability, weather resistance and cracking resistance of various polymer materials.

Scope of application:
DTBHQ is suitable for the vast majority of organic polymers, is currently one of the most widely used industrial antioxidants, but also a variety of polyester inhibitor. Can be used in the following materials and products:
1. all kinds of rubber: Natural rubber (NR), neoprene rubber (CR), nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), EPDM, Butadiene butadiene rubber (BP), styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) and other synthetic rubber and latex antioxidant DTBHQ, can delay the oxidation of vulcanized rubber and unvulcanized rubber and UV aging. It is a kind of non-polluting rubber products, sunlight does not change color, and easy to disperse, no effect on vulcanization, non-polluting antioxidant, oxidation resistance is better than the usual antioxidant, but also improve rubber products heat resistance, oil resistance and flexor cracking resistance. The effective coordination amount is 0.5-1%.
2. DTBHQ can be used as an antioxidant for lubricants, biodiesel (fuel oil) and oils (including cosmetics). During the use of lubricating oil, oxidation, polymerization, alkylation, decomposition and other reactions will result in the formation of coke and other colloids, which will degrade oil products, cause corrosion of lubricated parts and reduce efficiency. DTBHQ can interrupt the oxidation chain reaction and prolong the oxidation induction period. DTBHQ has a high melting point, and when added to biodiesel (fuel oil), it can improve the high temperature resistance of fuel and prevent oxidation and deterioration at high temperature. Combined with phosphite esters and thioether auxiliary antioxidants, the effect is better.
3. DTBHQ can strongly absorb 280-3lOnm wavelength ultraviolet light, is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), ABS and polyester resins (such as polyester) and other polyolefin fibers and films photothermal stabilizer, but also a good light stabilizer of polyformaldehyde. Because DTBHQ has photothermal stability and no coloring, it is especially suitable for the manufacture of light-colored rubber products, medical supplies, latex products and adhesive tapes, with a general dosage of 0.3-0.5%.
4. DTBHQ is a variety of resin monomer inhibitor, it has a good inhibition effect on butadiene, ethyl phosphorus acetate, styrene and other vinyl-type monomers, and the effect is durable and does not change color, significantly better than "hydroquinone". DTBHQ has sufficient solubility and chemical stability in polyester solvent, which does not affect the physicochemical properties of resin. It can react slowly with free radicals over a long period of time, absorbing free radicals generated in unsaturated and polyester resin storage. In addition to improving the storage stability of the resin, the effect on the gelling time is minimal, especially in the low pressure environment, it can play a good role in the polymerization.
5. During the processing and storage of color photosensitive materials, dyes are generated without selectivity due to the diffusion of oxidation products of the developer between emulsion layers, resulting in changes in photosensitive properties and gray fog pollution. The addition of DTBHQ can avoid this phenomenon.
In addition, DTBHQ can be used as a light stabilizer and antioxidant in coatings, paints, polyester adhesives and other products.
Methods of use:
It is the same as the commonly used antioxidant, antioxidant, inhibitor and light stabilizer. In synthetic rubber, DTBHQ works well when combined with the antioxidant D NP. DTBHQ usually ranges from 0.1% to 2%, and can be used in combination with phosphite to further improve photothermal stability.
Handling and storage:
Store in a cool, dry and sealed place away from light and fire. The product is easy to oxidize and discolor after moisture absorption, so it should be used up as soon as possible in a short time after opening, and pay attention to timely sealing and keeping dry. Shall not be stored and transported together with corrosive and toxic substances. Paper bucket lined with plastic bag, net weight 25 kg/ bucket.
