Disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate (also known as EDTA disodium) is a powerful chelating agent. Due to its high stability constant and extensive coordination properties, it can almost chelate with most metal ions other than alkali metals (such as iron, copper, calcium, magnesium and other polyvalent ions) to form stable water-soluble complexes, eliminating metal ions or harmful reactions caused by them.

USAGE:
1.It has antioxidant effect and has strong chelation effect on metal ions as a stabilizer. It can be used for pickles and canned food in our country, and the maximum usage is 0.25g/kg.
2. Among the salts of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, the disodium salt is the most important. The disodium salt of ethylenediaminetraacetic acid (EDTA disodium) is an important complexing agent for complexing metal ions and separating metals. It can also be used in detergents, liquid soaps, shampoos, agricultural chemical sprays, color photosensitive material rinsing and processing bleaching fixing solution, water purifier, pH adjuster, anagglutination agent, etc. In the redox initiation system for the polymerization of styrene-butadiene rubber, EDTA disodium is used as a component of the active agent, mainly for complexing ferrous ions to control the polymerization reaction speed. This product is low toxicity, and the oral LD50 of rats is 2000 mg/kg.
3.Mainly used in adhesives, fiber winding, laminates, high-performance coatings and tank lining coatings, as a curing agent for epoxy resins and a chain extender for polyurethane west meridian monomers, etc
