Metrafenone has several times higher bactericidal activity than pyrimethanil, and has no cross resistance to inhibitors with dimethylation pyrimidine fungicides. It can be used for the prevention and control of powdery mildew in crops such as grains, grapes, cucumbers, beans, and strawberries.
