Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride is used as  antistatic agent for synthetic fibers and also as softener and antistatic agent in textile and daily chemical industries.

Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride can be used as emulsifiers in pigments, dyes and other industries.

Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride can be used as emulsifier with high temperature water resistance in oil emulsion mud when drilling deep wells in oil field industry, as well as releasing agent and isolation agent in emulsion industry.

Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride  can also be used as precious metal extractant for the separation of rare earth elements and the separation of niobium, antimony and chromium, etc.; it can also be used as hemolytic agent in blood sample analysis;
