Introduction: 

 Methylsulfonic acid is a colorless or slightly brown oily liquid, solid at low temperatures, and a strong acid with a high boiling point. Soluble in water, alcohol and ether release a lot of heat, insoluble in alkane, benzene, etc., does not decompose boiling water, hot lye, and has a strong corrosion effect on metal iron, copper and lead.

Scope of application:

Methylsulphonic acid is the raw material of medicine and pesticides, and can also be used as dehydrating agent, coating curing accelerator, fiber treatment agent, solvent, alkylation, esterification and polymerization reaction catalyst. Used as a solvent, catalyst for esterification and polymerization.

Handling and storage:
 

This product should be sealed in a cool dry place away from light storage. This product is packed in 250kg plastic drum or steel-plastic drum. Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. Isolated from oxidants and alkalis for storage and transportation.
