Introduction: 
Ambergris is a synthetic amber fragrance, its aroma is similar to the aroma of natural ambergris and amber, and has extremely long-lasting characteristics. It is a colorless to light liquid, obtained by diene addition and then cyclization of myrcene and 3-methyl-3-penten-2-one in the presence of aluminum trichloride. Ambroxone has three isomers: alpha, beta, and gamma.
