Properties:
Caprylic Capric Triglycerride, also known as GTCC, GTCC is a mixed triester of medium carbon fatty acids in glycerol and vegetable oil. It is a colorless, odorless, low viscosity lipophilic softener with high antioxidant properties. In cosmetics, GTCC can be used as a Chemicalbook to replace a variety of oils, as a softener and a fat rich agent, and can also be used as a carrier and diluent to be added to active preparations or sterols and other conditioning agents. Cosmetics using GTCC are free of antioxidants and other stabilizers and do not cause adverse side effects.
Application:
1. Widely used in sunscreens, creams and lotions, hair conditioning oils, shampoos, baths, skin moisturizers, nutrition and conditioning products. GTCC is a high purity oil made from caprylic/capric acid and glycerides. It is an excellent moisturizing oil, with good spreading property, so that the skin has a smooth but not greasy feeling, easy to be absorbed by the skin. GTCC can be used as a moisturizing factor base, cosmetics stabilizer, antifreeze, homogenizing agent.
2. It is used as the oil base of emulsified flavor to prepare milk flavor with low viscosity and high stability
3. As an emulsifier, it is used in dairy products, cold drinks, soy milk, solid drinks and liquid drinks
4. It is used in gelatin-based formulations to improve its softness
