2. In the water treatment industry, it can be used as a bactericidal and algal agent, a slime stripping agent, and a cleaning agent, and has good emulsification effect on various oils in water. It has good compatibility with cationic, non-ionic and zwitterion surfactants. Its anti microbial performance is equivalent to that of germicide, which can be used for microbial control and cleaning of circulating water system, and has good killing effect on heterotrophic bacteria, iron bacteria, and Sulfate-reducing bacteria. Usually, the concentration used is 50-100mg/L.
3. Cationic surfactants. It is mainly used as bactericide, softener, emulsifier and antistatic agent in cosmetics. When used as a hair conditioner, it can adsorb onto the surface of the hair, forming a single molecule film, making the hair fluffy, soft, and giving it natural luster. At the same time, it can also suppress static electricity generated by friction on the hair surface, making it easy to comb the hair. Due to the negative charge on the skin, hair, and bacteria, they can firmly adhere to cationic active groups, achieving moisturizing, conditioning, sterilization, and anti-static effects.
4. Used as a fungicide, disinfectant, and preservative. It can also be used as a micelle solubilization spectrophotometric reagent. The maximum allowable content in cosmetics is 0.1%, and the deodorant is 0.05%~0.1%.
5. Cationic surfactants, used in alkaline degreasing solutions and alkaline electroplating solutions.
